effect as if for paragraphs (a) and (b) there were substituted—

 

“(a)    

a society registered or deemed to be registered under the

 

Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 which meets

 

the condition in section 1(2)(b) of that Act, or”;

 

(b)    

the definition of “co-operative society” in subsection (1) above has effect

 

as if for paragraphs (a) and (b) there were substituted—

The Public Bill Committee shall have leave to sit twice on the first day on

 

which it meets.

 

Consideration and Third Reading

 

4.    

Proceedings on Consideration shall (so far as not previously concluded) be

 

brought to a conclusion one hour before the moment of interruption on the

 

day on which those proceedings are commenced.

 

5.    

Proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be

 

brought to a conclusion at the moment of interruption on that day.

 

6.    

Standing Order No. 83B (Programming committees) shall not apply to

 

proceedings on Consideration and Third Reading.

 

Other proceedings

 

7.    

Any other proceedings on the Bill (including any proceedings on

 

consideration of any further message from the Lords) may be programmed.

That the Order of 12 July 2011 (Public Bodies Bill (Programme)) be varied as follows:

 

1.  

Paragraphs 4 and 5 of the Order shall be omitted.

 

2.  

Proceedings on consideration shall be taken in the following order: New

 

Clauses; New Schedules; amendments to Clause 1 and Schedule 1;

 

amendments to Clause 2 and Schedule 2; amendments to Clause 3 and

 

Schedule 3; amendments to Clause 4 and Schedule 4; amendments to

 

Clause 5 and Schedule 5; amendments to Clauses 6 to 27; amendments to

 

Schedule 6; amendments to Clauses 28 to 35; remaining proceedings on

 

consideration.

 

3.  

Proceedings on consideration shall (so far as not previously concluded) be

 

brought to a conclusion at 9.00 pm at today’s sitting.

 

4.  

Proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be

 

brought to a conclusion at 10.00 pm at today’s sitting.
