Report on financial assistance for housing infrastructure

To move the following Clause:—

 

‘Within one month of Royal Assent of this Act the Chancellor of the Exchequer

 

shall publish a report setting out how financial assistance for housing

 

infrastructure can support social and affordable housing needs in all local

 

authority areas irrespective of the ownership or management arrangements for

 

social housing in those areas.’.

 


 

Report on clearances for financial assistance from European Commission

To move the following Clause:—

 

‘If any relevant state aid clearances for financial assistance are not obtained from

 

the European Commission within three months of the date of an application by

 

the UK Government, the Treasury shall lay before Parliament a report setting out

 

the state of negotiations on that application and any reasons for a delay in

 

obtaining clearance.’.

‘(1)    

Before any infrastructure assistance is given the Treasury must apply customer

 

due diligence measures on any business requesting infrastructure assistance.

 

(2)    

For the purposes of this Act customer due diligence measures will have the same

 

meaning as that conferred by the Money Laundering Regulations 2007.’.

 

 

Order of the House [17 September 2012]

 

That the following provisions shall apply to the Infrastructure (Financial Assistance)

 

Bill—

 

Committal

 

1.    

The Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House.

 

Proceedings in Committee, on consideration and Third Reading

 

2.    

Proceedings in Committee, any proceedings on consideration and

 

proceedings on Third Reading shall be taken in one day in accordance with

 

the following provisions of this Order.

 

3.    

Proceedings in Committee and any proceedings on consideration shall (so far

 

as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion one hour before the

 

moment of interruption on the day on which those proceedings are

 

commenced.

 

4.    

Proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be

 

brought to a conclusion at the moment of interruption on that day.

 

Programming committee

 

5.    

Standing Order No. 83B (Programming committees) shall not apply to

 

proceedings in Committee, any proceedings on consideration or proceedings

 

on Third Reading.

 

Other proceedings

 

6.    

Any other proceedings on the Bill (including any proceedings on

 

consideration of Lords Amendments or on any further messages from the

 

Lords) may be programmed.
