In the event of a person of the Roman Catholic faith succeeding to the Crown by

 

virtue of subsection (3), the title of Defender of the Faith and the function of

 

Supreme Governor of the Church of England shall pass to a regent qualifying

 

with the provisions of section 3 of the Regency Act 1937.’.
