| Clause 4, page 2, line 31, at end add— |
|
| | ‘(5) | Where a partnership is convicted of an offence under section 4, any person |
|
| | admitted as a partner after the date of the commission of the offence who can |
|
| | prove that he or she was ignorant of that offence and had no knowledge of its |
|
| | commission, shall not be liable to pay any fine or proportion of a fine imposed on |
|
| | |

| To move the following Clause:— |
|
| | ‘( ) | Prior to the admission of a person as a partner into the partnership, the partnership |
|
| | must disclose to that person— |
|
| | (a) | any circumstances of which the partnership is aware which might give |
|
| | rise to a prosecution of the partnership for a criminal offence; and |
|
| | (b) | all convictions of the partnership which have occurred in the previous |
|
| | |
