“Report on fines relating to female genital mutilation prosecutions

 

(1)    

The Secretary of State must publish a report proposing increases in fines relating

 

to female genital mutilation prosecutions via family proceedings.

 

(2)    

The report must be laid before Parliament within one year of this Act coming into

 

force.”

“Report on cases relating to female genital mutilation that occurred overseas

 

(1)    

The Secretary of State must publish a report setting how the Government will

 

ensure that the resolution of family law proceedings relating to cases of female

 

genital mutilation that occurred overseas can attract funding from the Department

 

for International Development.

 

(2)    

The report must be laid before Parliament within one year of this Act coming into

 

force.”
