Line  10,  at end insert—

 

“(aa)    

carrying out work on a development project or programme;

 

(ab)    

carrying out work on a peace building project or programme;

 

(ac)    

carrying out work relating to human rights monitoring or advocacy;”

 

Member’s explanatory statement

 

This amendment seeks to add to the list of specified purposes activities that are conventionally

 

eligible for official development assistance but do not fall within the category “aid of a

 

humanitarian nature”.

Counter-Terrorism and Borders Security (Programme (No. 3))

That the following provisions shall apply to the Counter-Terrorism and Border

 

Security Bill for the purpose of supplementing the Orders of 11 June 2018 (Counter-

 

Terrorism and Border Security Bill (Programme)) and 11 September 2018 (Counter-

 

Terrorism and Border Security Bill (Programme) (No.2)):

 

Consideration of Lords Amendments

 

1.    

Proceedings on consideration of Lords Amendments shall (so far as not

 

previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion at 7.00 pm at today’s

 

sitting.

 

2.    

The proceedings shall be taken in the following order: Lords Amendments

 

Nos. 1 to 11, 13 and 16; Lords Amendments Nos. 12, 14, 15 and 17 to 42.

 

Subsequent stages

 

3.    

Any further Message from the Lords may be considered forthwith without

 

any Question being put.

 

4.    

The proceedings on any further Message from the Lords shall (so far as not

 

previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion one hour after their

 

commencement.
