Page 2, line 15, at end insert—

“( )     If the family of a person who has died during the course of his or
her service thinks that his or her relative or partner was wronged in
any matter relating to his or her service, the family may make a
complaint about the matter.”

 

Page 2, line 26, at end insert—

“( )   for a service complaint against a member of the Royal
Military Police to be made to an officer of a specified
description;”

 

Page 6, line 25, at end insert—

“( )     The Ombudsman may, after advising the Secretary of State,
investigate any matter deemed to be in the public interest on—

(a)   any aspect of the system mentioned in section 340O(2)(a);

(b)   any matter relating to the Ombudsman’s functions under
this Part;

and make a report to the Secretary of State.”
