After Clause 30

Insert the following new Clause—

“Oversight of complaints

(1)     The Secretary of State shall establish a commission to review—

(a)   the setting of standards for the actions of and handling of
complaints against immigration officers, and

(b)   the investigation of serious matters.

(2)     The commission provided for by subsection (1) shall make
recommendations on the establishment of an independent oversight
body.”
