23 The Parliamentary Constituencies Act 1986 contains the current provisions for setting boundaries for parliamentary constituencies, primarily sections 2 to 5 of, and Schedules 2 and 2A to that Act. Those provisions were substantially amended by Part 2 of the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Act 2011.
24 This Bill makes amendments to the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 1986 and the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Act 2011. It also makes consequential amendments to the Boundary Commissions Act 1992, the Northern Ireland Act 1998 and the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013.
