Purpose |
To ensure that the plight of endangered species is on the political agenda of government; to act as a channel for contact with experts, NGOs and parliamentarians overseas; to seek to influence the development and introduction of effective, wide-ranging, global agreements; and to focus on ensuring that such agreements are enforced robustly. |
