Title |
All-Party Parliamentary Group for Whistleblowing |
Purpose |
Whistleblowers are a vital element of a transparent society. In 1998 the Public Interest Disclosure Act was introduced to protect employees who speak out. In the face of many recent scandals the APPG is looking at the effectiveness of this legislation and how it might be improved. |
