TITLE

All-Party Parliamentary Group on the African Great Lakes Region

 

PURPOSE

To ensure the Great Lakes region is on the political agenda of government; to encourage discussion of regional issues; to act as a channel for contacts to experts, NGOs, and regional parliamentarians; and to focus on national resources, democracy, good governance, security sector reform, transparency, and human rights.
