PURPOSE |
To raise the profile of, and keep MPs and Peers informed about, antibiotic resistance and lack of new treatments. To raise the profile of the need to preserve antibiotics through education on their appropriate use, including non-human uses. To accelerate efforts to discover, research and develop new treatments including new drugs. To liaise and work in partnership with other relevant all-party groups. To ensure political and financial commitment to address the issues of antibiotic resistance from the UK government and other sources in proportion to the global need. |
