To ensure that the unique needs and challenges of coastal communities across the country are co-ordinated in Parliament. To hold government, opposition, quangos and NGOs accountable for the work they do in coastal areas. To create a strong dialogue between parliamentarians and those with an interest in coastal communities. To promote growth and job creating initiatives in coastal towns by ensuring they receive necessary support. To ensure that coastal communities are protected by flood defences. |
