All-Party Parliamentary Group on Global Education for All |

PURPOSE |
To raise greater awareness in the Houses of Parliament of the factors affecting the provision of education globally, and the government’s obligations to help to meet the education-related Millennium Development Goals and Education for All Goals; and to work with politicians from all parties, international development organisations, education sector stakeholders (including unions) both nationally and internationally, to help secure education for all as agreed by the international community at Dakar in 2000. |

RESULTS Education (commonly known as RESULTS UK), which is a charity, provides a part-time secretariat for the group. ActionAid meets occasional catering costs for group meetings. RESULTS Education paid for air fares, accommodation and meals for 2 members of the group for a delegation to Tanzania from 12-17 November 2013 (registered November 2014). |
