PURPOSE |
To provide a forum for greater discussion of sustainable development, ensuring that international development is fully rooted in environmental stewardship and the need for careful management of natural resources, and further ensuring that environmental policy takes full account of the needs of the poor and their aspirations for a better quality of life. |
