TITLE

All-Party Parliamentary Group on National Citizen Service and Volunteering

PURPOSE

To provide a platform to showcase, give recognition to and publicise the work of volunteering schemes and organisations, including National Citizen Service. To be a centre point for sharing good ideas and practice among volunteering groups and Members. To enable Members to explore better the opportunities in their area. To inform groups such as sports clubs about opportunities for them to partner with volunteers. To support emergency schemes on volunteering and provide a cross-party platform to enable these groups to have dialogue with ministers and decision makers.
