TITLE

All-Party Parliamentary Group on International Religious Freedom or Belief

 

PURPOSE

To raise awareness and profile of international religious freedom as a human right amongst parliamentarians, media, government and the general public in the UK; and to increase effectiveness and awareness of the UK’s contribution to international institutions charged with enforcing this human right.

BENEFITS RECEIVED BY GROUP FROM SOURCES OUTSIDE PARLIAMENT

The Whitehouse Consultancy (a consultancy) acts as the group’s secretariat. £2350 from the Network of Sikh Organisations UK, £2400 from the Coptic Orthodox Church of the UK and £2400 from Aid to the Church in Need (registered February 2013). £2880 from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (UK) (registered March 2013). £2100 from the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Discretionary Fund (registered April 2013). £15,000 from Mr Michael Farmer (registered June 2013). £2400 from the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís in the United Kingdom; £1600 from Christian Solidarity Worldwide - who will also be donating £200 per month from October 2013; £6000 from Interserve England and Wales (registered October 2013). £1600 from Open Doors UK & Ireland, who will also be donating £200 per month from November 2013; and £2400 from a private individual, Amin Mawji (registered November 2013).
