Debate on the First Joint Report from the Committee on Arms Export Controls, Session 2007-08, HC 254, on Scrutiny of Arms Export Control (2008): UK Strategic Export Controls Annual Report 2006, Quarterly Reports for 2007, Licensing Policy and Review of Export Control Legislation, and the Government’s response, Cm 7485.The Minutes of Evidence taken before the Business and Enterprise, Defence, Foreign Affairs and International Development Committees on 21 January 2009, HC 178-i, and 11 March 2009, HC 178-ii, on Strategic Export Controls, are relevant.

   Debate to arise on a motion for the adjournment of the sitting and to continue for three hours (Standing Order No. 10(1): sitting to be suspended and time added if divisions take place in the main Chamber).
