| PURPOSE
| To provide a parliamentary forum for the consideration of policy and practice affecting Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the promotion and management of these invaluable parts of our countryside heritage in order to protect the environment, the landscape and the economic and social wellbeing of local communities.
