TITLE
| Associate Parliamentarty Group for Parents and Families

|
PURPOSE
| To support parliamentarians in taking an overarching strategic focus on family policy; to inform parliamentarians about research and policy-making; to make links across issues that impact on families and parents; to create a forum where new research and developments can influence policy; to tract the progress of relevant legislation; and to ensure that the strategic focus on family policy includes parents, children and young people living in diverse families, and all the factors that impact on family life, including quality of life issues and relationships.
