27-30 June 2008, to Tokyo, Japan, to attend the 5th conference organised by GLOBE, a group of legislators from the G8+5 climate change dialogue. Hotel and travel costs paid by the promoters of GLOBE. (Registered 9 July 2008)
7-12 September 2008, to Israel and Palestine with Labour Friends of Israel (LFI). Travel and hospitality within Israel and Palestine paid for by LFI. Accommodation paid for by LFI at a rate discounted through the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Some hospitality was provided by Palestinian Legislative Council, Palestinian Authority and the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
