Purpose of visit: to educate MPs on the impact of tuberculosis on development, visiting Rwanda as an example for other African countries in tackling tuberculosis and HIV coinfection, and learning about the impact of support to Rwanda through bilateral and multilateral channels. The delegation also looked into how UK aid is currently being utilized in the fight against TB and HIV in Rwanda and the future role of UK aid.
