Received on 16 December 2011, settlement of £200,000 from News Group Newspapers, 1 Virginia St, London E98 1XY in respect of a civil legal action brought by me following phone hacking, invasion of privacy and harassment. 50% donated to charity. (Registered 22 December 2011)
As part of my voluntary role as Deputy Mayor of the Olympic Village, for which I was fully accredited by LOCOG I attended various Olympic events free of charge between 21 July 2012 and 13 August 2012. I received a further accredited pass for the closing ceremony and a single guest ticket which I passed to a member of my family. (Registered 10 August 201 2)
I was also fully accredited for the Paralympics by LOCOG (One Churchill Place, Canary Wharf, London E14 5LN), in order that I could support the hosting of guests and visitors and present medals and flowers at 8 ceremonies.
