2Greenham and Crookham Commons Bill,—The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Greenham and Crookham Commons Bill;
 
        Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Tuesday 8th February.
3Mersey Tunnels Bill,—The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Mersey Tunnels Bill;

4Second Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation,—Mrs Irene Adams reported from the Second Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation the draft Grants to the Churches Conservation Trust Order 2000.

6Message from the Lords,—A Message was received from the Lords, as follows:
 
        Baxi Partnership Limited Trusts Bill [Lords],—The Lords have agreed to the Amendments made by this House to the Baxi Partnership Limited Trusts Bill [Lords], without Amendment.
7Retail Packaging Recycling,—Ordered, That leave be given to bring in a Bill to require that certain retailers shall provide free of charge a collection point for any packaging materials sold or supplied by them; and to require them to recycle or safely dispose of such materials: And that Mr Andrew Stunell, Mr David Chaytor, Dr Vincent Cable, Mr Nicholas Winterton, Mrs Linda Gilroy, Norman Baker and Mr Alan Simpson do prepare and bring it in.
8Retail Packaging Recycling Bill,—Mr Andrew Stunell accordingly presented a Bill to require that certain retailers shall provide free of charge a collection point for any packaging materials sold or supplied by them; and to require them to recycle or safely dispose of such materials: And the same was read the first time; and ordered to be read a second time on Friday 10th March and to be printed [Bill 56].
9Financial Services and Markets Bill,—The House, according to Order, proceeded further to consider the Financial Services and Markets Bill, as amended in the Standing Committee.
