PRAYERS.
1 Northern Ireland Bill,—Mr Secretary Mandelson, supported by the Prime Minister, Mr Secretary Straw, Mr Secretary Reid and Mr Secretary Murphy, presented a Bill to make provision for the suspension of devolved government in Northern Ireland and the exercise of certain functions conferred by or under Part V of the Northern Ireland Act 1998; and for connected purposes; And the same was read the first time; and ordered to be read a second time on Monday 7th February and to be printed [Bill 61].

    Ordered, That the Explanatory Notes relating to the Northern Ireland Billl be printed [Bill 61—EN].

2 Carers and Disabled Children Bill,—The Carers and Disabled Children Bill was, according to Order, read a second time and stood committed to a Standing Committee.
3 Export of Farm Animals Bill,—The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Export of Farm Animals Bill;
      Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Friday 7th April.
4 Welfare of Broiler Chickens Bill,—The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Welfare of Broiler Chickens Bill;
      Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Friday 7th April.
5 Fire Prevention Bill,—The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Fire Prevention Bill;
      Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Friday 7th April.
6 Northern Ireland Bill,—Ordered, That, in respect of the Northern Ireland Bill, notices of Amendments, new Clauses and new Schedules to be moved in Committee may be accepted by the Clerks at the Table before the Bill has been read a second time.—(Mr Greg Pope.)
