2London Local Authorities Bill [Lords],—The Order of the day being read, for consideration of the London Local Authorities Bill [Lords], as amended in the Committee;
 
        Ordered, That the Bill be considered on Thursday 8th June.
3Mersey Tunnels Bill,—The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Mersey Tunnels Bill;
 
        Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Thursday 8th June.
4Liaison,—Mr Robert Sheldon reported, pursuant to Standing Order No. 145 (Liaison Committee), That the Liaison Committee had directed him to report that it had chosen the Second Report (No. 120) of the Environment, Transport and Regional Affairs Committee (Session 1999-2000) on Environmental Impact of Supermarket Competition and the First Report (No. 46) of the Welsh Affairs Committee (Session 1999-2000) on European Structural Funds to be debated on Wednesday 21st June pursuant to Standing Order No. 10 (Wednesday sittings), and the Order of 24th May 1999, in the last Session of Parliament, relating to sittings in Westminster Hall.
5Standing Orders,—Ordered, That the Standing Orders relating to Public Business, as amended, be printed [No. 518].
6Electronic Communications Bill,—The House, according to Order, proceeded to consider the Lords Amendments to the Electronic Communications Bill.
 
        Lords Amendments Nos. 1 to 22 were agreed to.
7Adjournment (Matters to be considered before the forthcoming adjournment),—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn—(Mr Greg Pope);
8Royal Assent,—The Deputy Speaker notified the House, in accordance with the Royal Assent Act 1967, That Her Majesty had signified Her Royal Assent to the following Acts, agreed upon by both Houses:
 
        Armed Forces Discipline Act 2000
 
        Nuclear Safeguards Act 2000
 
        Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000
 
        Electronic Communications Act 2000.
