1Private Bills [Lords] (No Standing Order not previously enquired into applicable),—The Speaker laid upon the Table a Report from one of the Examiners of Petitions for Private Bills, That, in the case of the following Bill, originating in the Lords and referred after the First Reading thereof, no Standing Order not previously enquired into is applicable thereto, viz.:
 
        Alliance & Leicester Group Treasury plc (Transfer) Bill [Lords].
 
        Bill to be read a second time.
2Message from the Lords,—A Message was brought from the Lords, as follows:
 
        Suspension of Hospital Medical Practitioners Bill,—The Lords have passed a Bill to make provision for new procedures for the suspension of hospital medical practitioners; to which the Lords desire the concurrence of this House.
3Strategic Export Controls (Breach of Embargo) Bill,—Ordered, That the Strategic Export Controls (Breach of Embargo) Bill be read a second time on Friday 21st July.
4Adjournment (Policing of London),—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn—(Mr Tony McNulty);
 
        And it being half-past Two o'clock, the Motion for the adjournment lapsed, without Question put.
5Adjournment,—Resolved, That this House do now adjourn.—(Mr Tony McNulty.)
 
        And accordingly the House, having continued to sit till one minute to Three o'clock, adjourned till Monday next.
