The House met at half-past Nine o'clock.

1    The Speaker's Absence,-The House being met, and the Speaker having leave of absence pursuant to paragraph (3) of Standing Order No. 3 (Deputy Speaker), Sylvia Heal, the First Deputy Chairman of Ways and Means, proceeded to the Table.

PRAYERS.

2    The First Deputy Chairman of Ways and Means took the Chair as Deputy Speaker.

3    Hunting Bill,-Mrs Marion Roe reported from Standing Committee F, That it had gone through the Hunting Bill and made Amendments thereunto.

    Bill, as amended in the Standing Committee, to be considered on Monday 3rd March; and to be printed [Bill 62].

    Minutes of proceedings of the Committee to be printed [No. 483].

4    Fireworks Bill,-The Fireworks Bill was, according to Order, read a second time and stood committed to a Standing Committee.

5    National Lottery (Funding of Endowments) Bill,-The National Lottery (Funding of Endowments) Bill was, according to Order, read a second time and stood committed to a Standing Committee.

6    Marine Safety Bill,-The Marine Safety Bill was, according to Order, read a second time and stood committed to a Standing Committee.

7    Housing (Overcrowding) Bill,-The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Housing (Overcrowding) Bill;

    Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Friday 4th April.

8    Crown Employment (Nationality) Bill,-The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Crown Employment (Nationality) Bill;

    Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Friday 7th March.

9    Human Fertilisation and Embryology Amendment Bill,-The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Amendment Bill;

    Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Friday 16th May.

10    Adjournment,-A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn-(Mr Fraser Kemp);

    And the Motion having been made at half-past Two o'clock, and the Debate having continued for half an hour, the Deputy Speaker adjourned the House without Question put, pursuant to the Standing Order, till Monday 3rd March.
