PRAYERS.

1    Co-operatives and Community Benefit Societies Bill,-The House, according to Order, proceeded to consider the Co-operatives and Community Benefit Societies Bill, as amended in the Standing Committee.

    Amendments (Nos. 1 to 8) made to the Bill.

    Another Amendment (No. 9) proposed to the Bill, in page 12, line 4, to leave out the words 'Industrial and Provident' and insert the words 'Co-operatives and Community Benefit', instead thereof.-(Mr Andrew Love.)

    Question proposed, That the Amendment be made:-Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.

    The Bill was read the third time, and passed.

2    Litter and Fouling of Land by Dogs Bill,-The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Litter and Fouling of Land by Dogs Bill;

    And a Motion being made, and the Question being proposed, That the Bill be now read a second time;

    The Motion was, with leave of the House, withdrawn.

    Bill withdrawn.

3    Dealing in Cultural Objects (Offences) Bill,-The Dealing in Cultural Objects (Offences) Bill was, according to Order, read a second time and stood committed to a Standing Committee.

4    Needle Stick Injury Bill,-The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Needle Stick Injury Bill;

    And a Motion being made, and the Question being proposed, That the Bill be now read a second time;

    And it being half-past Two o'clock, the Debate stood adjourned.

    Ordered, That the Debate be resumed on Friday 4th July.

5    Housing (Overcrowding) Bill,-The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Housing (Overcrowding) Bill;

    Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Friday 20th June.

6    Health and Safety at Work (Offences) Bill,-The Order of the day being read, for resuming the adjourned Debate on the Question proposed on 31st January, That the Health and Safety at Work (Offences) Bill be now read a second time;

    Ordered, That the Debate be resumed on Friday 20th June.

7    Government Powers (Limitations) Bill,-The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Government Powers (Limitations) Bill;

    Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Friday 16th May.

8    Crown Employment (Nationality) Bill,-The Order of the day being read, for the Second Reading of the Crown Employment (Nationality) Bill;

    The Solicitor General, by Her Majesty's Command, acquainted the House, That Her Majesty, having been informed of the purport of the Bill, had consented to place Her Prerogative and Interests, so far as they are affected by the Bill, at the disposal of Parliament for the purposes of the Bill.

    And objection being taken to further proceeding;

    Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time on Friday 13th June.

9    Adjournment,-Resolved, That this House do now adjourn.-(Jim Fitzpatrick.)

    And accordingly the House, having continued to sit till three minutes to Three o'clock, adjourned till Monday 7th April.
