12 Industrial Development (Financial Assistance) Bill,-The House, according to Order, proceeded to consider the Industrial Development (Financial Assistance) Bill, not amended in the Standing Committee.
Amendment (No. 1) proposed to the Bill, in page 1, line 4, to leave out the words 'The limit shall be £3,700 million' and insert the words 'The said limit shall be £3,440 million', instead thereof.-(Mr Andrew Lansley.)

13 High Hedges (No. 2) Bill [Money],-Her Majesty's Recommendation having been signified to the proposed Motion relating to High Hedges (No. 2) Bill [Money];
Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the High Hedges (No. 2) Bill ('the Act'), it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of-
(1) any expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in consequence of the Act; and
(2) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums which are payable out of money so provided by virtue of any other Act.-(Mr Tony McNulty.)
