2    Education and Inspections Bill,—Frank Cook reported from Standing Committee E, That it had gone through the Education and Inspections Bill, and made Amendments thereunto.

3    Fifth Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation,—Mr Eric Illsley reported from the Fifth Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation the Bee Diseases and Pest Control (England) Order 2006 (S.I., 2006, No. 342).

4    Message from the Lords,—A Message was brought from the Lords as follows:

    The Lords have come to the following Resolution, to which they desire the agreement of this House:

    That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of Lords and Commons be appointed to consider and report on any draft Legal Services Bill presented to both Houses by a Minister of the Crown, and that the Committee should report on the draft Bill by 25th July 2006.

5    Criminal Law (Amendment) (Protection of Property) Bill,—The Order for resuming to-morrow the adjourned Debate on the Question proposed on 2nd December, That the Criminal Law (Amendment) (Protection of Property) Bill be now read a second time, was read and discharged.

    Debate to be resumed on Friday 16th June.

6    Disabled Children's Assessment and Services Bill,—The Order for reading the Disabled Children's Assessment and Services Bill a second time to-morrow was read and discharged.

    Bill withdrawn.

7    Housing Corporation (Delegation) etc. Bill (Programme) (No. 2),—Ordered, That the Order of 25th April 2006 (Housing Corporation (Delegation) etc. Bill (Programme)) be varied as follows:

    1. Paragraphs 4 and 5 of the Order shall be omitted.

    2. Proceedings on consideration shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion two hours after the commencement of proceedings on the motion for this Order.

    3. Proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion three hours after the commencement of proceedings on the motion for this Order.—(Yvette Cooper.)

8    Housing Corporation (Delegation) etc. Bill,—The House, according to Order, proceeded to consider the Housing Corporation (Delegation) etc. Bill, not amended in the Standing Committee.

    The Bill was read the third time, and passed.

9    Adjournment (Creating confident consumers),—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn—(Mr Ian McCartney);

    The Motion was, with the leave of the House, withdrawn.
