2    Welfare Reform Bill,—Mr Secretary Hutton, supported by the Prime Minister, Mr Secretary Prescott, Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Secretary Alexander, Ms Secretary Hewitt, Mr Secretary Hain, Mr Secretary Darling, Mr Jack Straw, Ms Harriet Harman, Mr Jim Murphy and Mrs Anne McGuire, presented a Bill to make provision about social security; to amend the Vaccine Damage Payments Act 1979; and for connected purposes: And the same was read the first and second time without Question put, and stood committed to a Public Bill Committee in respect of Clauses Nos. 34 to 69 and Schedules Nos. 5 to 8, pursuant to Standing Order No. 80A (Carry-over of bills) and Order [24th July 2006]; and ordered to be printed [Bill 1].

3    Crossrail Bill,—Mr Secretary Alexander, supported by the Prime Minister, Mr Secretary Prescott, Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Jack Straw, Mr Secretary Darling, Secretary Tessa Jowell, Secretary David Miliband and Mr Tom Harris presented a Bill to make provision for a railway transport system running from Maidenhead, in the County of Berkshire, and Heathrow Airport, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, through central London to Shenfield, in the County of Essex, and Abbey Wood, in the London Borough of Greenwich; and for connected purposes: And the same was read the first and second time without Question put, and stood committed to a select committee, pursuant to Order [31st October 2006]; and ordered to be printed [Bill 2].

4    Digital Switchover (Disclosure of Information) Bill,—Secretary Tessa Jowell, supported by the Prime Minister, Mr Secretary Prescott, Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Secretary Darling, Mr Secretary Hain, Secretary Ruth Kelly, Mr Secretary Hutton, Mr Secretary Alexander, Ms Harriet Harman, Mr Shaun Woodward and Margaret Hodge presented a Bill to make provision about the disclosure of certain information for purposes connected with digital switchover: And the same was read the first time; and ordered to be read a second time on Monday 20th November and to be printed [Bill 3].

5    Investment Exchanges and Clearing Houses Bill,—Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, supported by Mr Secretary Darling, Mr Secretary Hain, Mr Secretary Alexander, Mr Stephen Timms, Dawn Primarolo, John Healey, Ed Balls and Margaret Hodge, presented a Bill to confer power on the Financial Services Authority to disallow excessive regulatory provision by recognised investment exchanges and clearing houses; and for connected purposes: And the same was read the first time; and ordered to be read a second time on Monday 20th November and to be printed [Bill 4].

    Ordered, That the Explanatory Notes relating to the Investment Exchanges and Clearing Houses Bill be printed [Bill 4-EN].

6    Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Bill,—Secretary John Reid, supported by the Prime Minister, Mr Secretary Prescott, Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Secretary Darling, Mr Secretary Hutton, Hazel Blears and Mr Gerry Sutcliffe, presented a Bill to create a new offence that, in England and Wales or Northern Ireland, is to be called corporate manslaughter and, in Scotland, is to be called corporate homicide; and to make provision in connection with that offence: And the same was read the first and second time without Question put, pursuant to Standing Order No. 80A (Carry-over of bills) and Order [10th October 2006]; and ordered to be considered on Monday 20th November and to be printed [Bill 5].

7    Fraud (Trials Without a Jury) Bill,—Secretary John Reid, supported by the Prime Minister, Mr Secretary Prescott, Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, Secretary Margaret Beckett, Ms Secretary Hewitt, the Solicitor General and Joan Ryan, presented a Bill to make amendments of and in relation to section 43 of the Criminal Justice Act 2003: And the same was read the first time; and ordered to be read a second time on Monday 20th November and to be printed [Bill 6].

    Ordered, That the Explanatory Notes relating to the Fraud (Trials Without a Jury) Bill be printed [Bill 6-EN].

8    Northern Ireland (St Andrews Agreement) Bill,—Mr Secretary Hain, supported by the Prime Minister, Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, Secretary John Reid, Secretary Des Browne, Mr David Hanson and Ms Harriet Harman, presented a Bill to make provision for preparations for the restoration of devolved government in Northern Ireland in accordance with the St Andrews Agreement; to make provision as to the consequences of compliance, or non-compliance, with the St Andrews Agreement timetable; to amend the Northern Ireland Act 1998; to make provision about district policing partnerships; to amend the Education (Northern Ireland) Orders 1997 and 2006; and for connected purposes: And the same was read the first time; and ordered to be read a second time on Monday 20th November and to be printed [Bill 7].

9    Queen's Speech (Motion for an Address),—The Order of the day being read, for resuming the adjourned debate on the Question proposed yesterday, That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty, as follows:

    Most Gracious Sovereign,

    We, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Parliament assembled, beg leave to offer our humble thanks to Your Majesty for the Gracious Speech which Your Majesty has addressed to both Houses of Parliament;

    And the Question being again proposed:—The House resumed the adjourned Debate.

12    Sittings of the House,—Ordered, That, at the sitting on Wednesday 22nd November, the House shall not adjourn until:

14    Public Petition,—A Public Petition from residents of Buckfastleigh against the closure of local bank branches was presented and read; and ordered to lie upon the Table and to be printed.
