SUPPLEMENT TO THE VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS

PETITION FROM HANNAH MARSHALL, ELLIOTT WARD AND STUDENTS OF THE ANGLO EUROPEAN SCHOOL AND OF THE SOUTH EAST,

11th July 2007

To the House of Commons.

The Petition of Hannah Marshall, Elliott Ward and students of the Anglo European School and of the South East,

Declares that the children and young people of Britain are the future of this country and want a future without violence and unnecessary suffering, bred by inequality, believe that genocide in Darfur should be tackled more appropriately by the UK and other nations, and that this genocide should be more widely publicised, and further declares that there are over 20 million refugees in the world, many of whom are children or young people, like the petitioners, but many of whom do not have a family or even a country and need our help as their brothers and sisters.

The Petitioners therefore request the House of Commons to urge the Government to take a more positive role in bringing attention to the Darfur genocide, in helping those refugees in need in Darfur, and in getting a solution to the political and security problems and giving appropriate aid so issues are dealt with in a sustainable manner.

And the Petitioners remain, etc.

SUPPLEMENT TO THE VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS

PETITION FROM RESIDENTS OF THE BOROUGH OF BOURNEMOUTH AND OTHERS,

11th July 2007

Declares the Petitioners' serious concerns about the overdevelopment in the Bournemouth area and the lack of investment in our infrastructure which are affecting the character of our town.

The Petitioners recognise the need for some development to meet the needs of Bournemouth but believe planning decisions should be made by the local authorities and not influenced by targets set by the South West Regional Assembly.

The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urge the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government to reconsider the impact present planning policy is having on our town, introduce legislation to protect back gardens from overdevelopment, place more emphasis on supporting off-street parking facilities and ensure Bournemouth's Greenbelt is not threatened.

And the Petitioners remain, etc.

SUPPLEMENT TO THE VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS

PETITION FROM RESIDENTS OF THE CONSTITUENCY OF BROXBOURNE AND OTHERS,

The Petitioners further declare that the existing and proposed cuts in service are aimed at generating financial savings and do not take into account clinical expertise and need.

The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urge the Secretary of State for Health to use his powers to reverse the continued scaling back of health care provision at Chase Farm Hospital and across the County of Hertfordshire and asks that he visits the constituency of Broxbourne at his earliest opportunity in order to address residents' concerns.

And the Petitioners remain, etc.
