NHS Reform
3.47 am
Mr. Allen McKay (Barnsley, West and Penistone) : I wish to present a petition on behalf of the people of Mapplewell, Darton and north Gawber, who are themselves acting for those who are patients at the health centre in Mapplewell. The petition is signed by some 1,700 people, who ask the House to consider their views. They are, to say the least, extremely concerned and distressed about the Government's proposals for the National Health Service, particularly as they affect general practitioner services. On their behalf, I ask the House to accept the petition.
To lie upon the Table.
