Mr. Dewar : To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish an analysis, parallel to that given by the Chief Secretary on 23 May, Official Report, columns 583-4, of (a) local authority capital expenditure in Scotland which falls outside the responsibility of the Secretary of State for Scotland tabulated by function and (b) local authority capital expenditure in Wales which falls outside the responsibility of the Secretary of State for Wales.
Mr. Mellor : The information requested, consistent with that given in the statistical supplement to the 1990 Autumn Statement (Cm 1520), is given in the tables.
