Mr. Hanley : Social security operational matters are the responsibility of Mr. Alex Wylie, chief executive of the Social Security Agency. He will write to the hon. Gentleman and copies of his reply will be placed in the Library and Public Information Office.
Mr. William Ross : To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) when he expects the perimeter fence at Magharafelt controlled primary school to be repaired ;
(2) how many mobile classrooms there are at Magharafelt controlled primary school ; and when he expects them to be replaced by permanent buildings.
Dr. Mawhinney : Any necessary repairs will be carried out by the north eastern education and library board as soon as possible. The school has two mobile classrooms. The north eastern education and library board has no immediate plans to replace them.
Mr. William Ross : To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what progress has been made in the last six months on the provision of the new hospital at Coleraine ; what sums have been expended on that programme to date ; and when he expects work to begin.
Mr. Hanley : I announced approval in principle for the new Causeway hospital on 13 September. A site has been identified at Lodge road, Coleraine and negotiations for its purchase are in hand. I hope to be able to announce the time scale for the construction in the near future.
Mr. William Ross : To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will, for as long a number of years as is possible at reasonable cost, publish a table to show for each river in the area covered by the Foyle Fisheries Commission the number of (a) salmon, (b) grilse and (c) sea trout taken by (i) anglers and (ii) by commercial fishermen showing the number of fish taken by nets and fishing engines in each river estuary and in Lough Foyle, by other coastal fishing stations and by drift nets.
Mr. Hanley : The tables set out the information which is available. Separate figures for salmon and grilse cannot be provided.
