Countryside Survey

Dr. Strang : To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for the Environment on the results of the countryside survey 1990 and the implications of these results for his Department.

Sir Hector Monro [holding answer 30 November 1993] : My right hon. Friend maintains regular contact with his right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment on these matters and will continue to do so. My right hon. Friend is committed to integrating environmental concerns into all policy areas.
