Mr. Eric Clarke: To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, pursuant to his answer of 25 January, Official Report , column 275 , if he will publish the findings of any engineering or structural survey of the Forth rail bridge commissioned by his Department; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Milburn: To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will provide estimates for the total amount that has been paid to N. M. Rothschild and Sons Ltd. with respect to any work undertaken by it on privatisation programmes in which his Department has been engaged since 1979 after taking account of inflation.

Mr. Lang: No work has been undertaken by N. M. Rothschild and Sons Ltd. on any privatisation programmes in which my Department has been engaged since 1979.
