whether a final decision is made to deport him; and if he will make it his policy to ensure that such notification will allow time for further representations to him. [33682]Mr. Lidington: To ask the Attorney-General if he will announce the key performance targets for executive agencies in his Department for 1995 96; and if he will make a statement. [35816]
The Attorney-General: On 28 April 1994, I informed the House, Official Report, column 235, of the key performance targets which I had set for the Government Property Lawyers for 1994 95. The agency has had another successful year and it has achieved the targets I set. I congratulate the chief executive and his staff. I have set the following targets for the agency for 1995 96:
To recover the full operating cost of the Agency.
To achieve at least 6,000 new instructions from its clients. To effect an average of 95 completions pre case-holder equivalent to a total of 6,935.
To maintain and improve the quality of service in particular by keeping the proportion of cases completed satisfactorily (i.e. without requiring rectification by reason of any fault of the Agency) on or before the target date at or above 99.5 per cent.
Over the three year period, 1993 94 to 1996 97 to achieve a reduction on operating costs of an average of 2.5 per cent. per year in real terms taking 1993 94 as the base year.
I wish the chief executive and his staff another successful year.
Mr. Lidington: To ask the Attorney-General when he expects to lay before Parliament and publish the annual report of the Serious Fraud Office for the year 1994 95. [35815]
The Attorney-General: The report was laid before Parliament at 11 am this morning and then published. Copies have been placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
Mr. David Shaw: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to his answer of 29 June, if he will publish such information on other EU member states, official publications on public expenditure and taxation as is readily available to him. [32492]
