Report, column 16, how many (a) unconditional on-demand bonds, (b) performance bonds, (c) parent company guarantees, (d) advance payment bonds and (e) retention bonds were required by his Department in the last five years. [31233]
Mr. Willetts: The Office of Public Service and its agencies, HMSO and the Central Office of Information have obtained six performance bonds and six parent company guarantees in the last five years. No unconditional on-demand bonds, advance payment bonds and retention bonds were required by the Department in the last five years.
Mr. Winnick: To ask the Deputy Prime Minister what discussions he had on human rights issues with those Chinese leaders whom he met during his recent visit to China; which political opponents of the Government he met; and if he will make a statement. [31156]
The Deputy Prime Minister: The two main objectives for my visit to China were to develop commercial opportunities for British business in China and to take forward co-operation over Hong Kong. During my visit, I focused on these two objectives, which were achieved. I did not raise human rights issues. The Chinese are in no doubt about our long-held and serious concerns in that area.
Mr. Byers: To ask the Deputy Prime Minister what plans he has to meet (a) Mr. Li Ka Shing, (b) Mr. David Choy, (c) Mr. Rong Yiren, (d) Mr. Stanley Ho, (e) Mr. T. T. Tsui and (f) Mr. C. H. Tung during his forthcoming visit to Hong Kong. [30598]
The Deputy Prime Minister: During my visit to Hong Kong on 24 to 25 May, I met a broad range of businessmen, politicians and general opinion-formers.

Mr. Cox: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the payment per week currently made to the three British service personnel who have been convicted and sentenced for the manslaughter of a Danish tour guide in Cyprus. [30199]
Mr. Soames: No payments have been made by my Department to the three men since they were discharged from the Army on 22 April. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has now assumed welfare responsibility for these individuals.
Mr. Spellar: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the replacement of the Wessex helicopter used by the royal family. [30242]
Mr. Arbuthnot : The Wessex HCC4s used to provide the VVIP helicopter service for the royal family and senior Government Ministers have been in service since 1969 and are becoming more difficult and costly to maintain. We are examining options for a replacement service but no decisions have yet been taken.
Mr. Donohoe: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list (a) the number of (i) male and (ii) female employees, (b) the number of officials employed at each of the principal grades and the number and percentage of women employed at each of these grades and (c) the number of staff employed at administrative grades and the number and percentage of these staff who are women in his Department on 1 April. [30552]
