Child Labour

Mr. Corbyn: To ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) if he will list for each local authority in England and Wales the number of children registered as working in (a) 1986 and (b) the last year for which figures are available; [36312]

Mr. Bowis: This information is not collected centrally. Questions relating to Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are matters for my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Wales and for Scotland and my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland respectively.

NHS Advertising

Mr. Milburn: To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much the NHS spent on advertising costs in each region in each year since 1990-91. [35342]

Mr. Malone [holding answer 2 July 1996]: The information requested is not available. It is not possible to extract information on advertising costs from expenditure on areas such as health promotion initiatives and measures to improve local accountability, including the production of annual reports and information about services.

Motorway Accidents
