  The Committee deliberated.

  Draft Report [The Work of Select Committees], proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.

  Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.

  Paragraphs 1 to 41 read and agreed to.

  Annex (Cost of Select Committees) agreed to.

  Ordered, That the Reports of Chairmen of Select Committees and the statistical summaries be appended to the Report. -(The Chairman.)

  Resolved, That the Report be the First Report of the Committee to the House.

  Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.
