Ordered,
That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.
Paragraphs 1 to 29 read
and agreed to.
Resolved,
That the Report be the Report of the Chairmen's Panel to the
House.
Ordered,
That the Chairman of Ways and Means do make the Report to the
House.
A paper (Letter dated 19th
July 1997 from the Chairman of the Select Committee on Modernisation
of The House of Commons to the Chairman of Ways and Means) was
ordered to be annexed to the Report.
