Note 1. The Ministry of Defence performance is based on its Performance Report for 199697. Its Performance Report for 1997-98 has not yet been published.
2. The Treasury Green Minister's responsibilities also cover HM Customs & Excise and the Inland Revenue
3. The Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions did not separately report the work of its Green Minister although she was listed alongside other Green Ministers
4. The report provides reference to how to obtain a copy of the department's green housekeeping policy.
Most departments' reports addressed their housekeeping performance. The DETR report was the exception in that it did not address its aims, policies or performance.
