Select Committee on Health First Report

APPENDIX 18

Supplementary memorandum by Fairbridge WA

Child Migrants (CM 211 A)
While Fairbridge WA has not specifically considered your [FAIRBRIDGE] submission to the Committee, or the submission of the Fairbridge Foundation, I think it would be fair to say that it would generally concur with the view that it is inappropriate that the Child Migrant Trust be funded or established as the sole authorised assistance agency. We recognise that the Child Migrant Trust has performed valuable services for former Child Migrants, but there are also many criticisms of its activities.
