Draft Report (The Cloning of Animals from Adult Cells), proposed
by the Chairman, brought up and read.
Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time,
paragraph by paragraph.
Paragraphs 1 to 4 read and agreed to.
Resolved, That the Report be the Fourth Report of
the Committee to the House.
Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to
the House.
Ordered, That the following Papers be appended to
the Report:
Letter dated 5th February 1998 from the Chairman of the Committee
to Mr John Battle MP, Minister for Science, Energy and Industry;
and
Letter dated 14th July 1998 from Mr John Battle MP, Minister for
Science, Energy and Industry to the Chairman of the Committee
and a memorandum from the Office of Science and Technology. —
