SPOTLIGHT ON BENEFIT CHEATS
BACKGROUND
Initiatives to examine CHB fraud, were employed
in phase two (4-29 November 1996) and more specifically in phase
three (3-28 February 1997) of the Spotlight campaign. Potential
areas of risk were identified prior to the start of activity and
specific cases were followed up in the investigation phase. Potential
risk cases were identified using the GMS tool and other cases
by centrally and locally obtained data from CBC and District Offices.
