  Resolved, That the Committee do visit the USA in connection with its inquiry into the interaction and possible integration of the tax and benefits systems.

  Ordered, That the Chairman do seek financial authority from the Liaison Committee for a visit to the USA in the current financial year.

  Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.

  Paragraphs 1 and 2 read, amended and agreed to.

  Paragraphs 3 to 6 read and agreed to.

  Paragraphs 7 and 8 read, amended and agreed to.

  Paragraph 9 read and agreed to.

  Paragraph 10 to 15 read, amended and agreed to.

  Paragraph 16 read, amended, divided and agreed to (now paragraphs 16 and 17).

  Paragraphs 17 to 19 (now paragraphs 18 to 20) read, amended and agreed to.

  Resolved, That the Report, as amended, to be the Second Report of the Committee to the House.

  Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.

  Ordered, That the provisions of Standing Order No. 134 (Select committees (reports) be applied to the Report.

  Several Papers were ordered to be appended to the Report.
