The Members of the Committee declared the following
interests:
Mr Martyn Jones declared pecuniary interests as a
member of Business Planning and Research International Political
Opinion Panel and Harris Parliamentary Panel (fees paid to Labour
Party).
Ms Julie Morgan declared a pecuniary interest as
a member of Cardiff County Council.
Ms Jackie Lawrence declared pecuniary interests as
a member of Pembrokeshire County Council and South Glamorgan Probation
Committee.
Mr Martin Caton declared pecuniary interests as a
member of GMB Union and as a governor of two primary schools in
his constituency.
Mr Owen Paterson declared pecuniary interests as
a Director and Shareholder, the British Leather Company Ltd, fees
from occasional broadcasting and rent from property attached to
his home.
Mr John Bercow declared a pecuniary interest from
occasional broadcasting and as a member of Business Research and
Planning International Panel (fees paid to charity).
The Committee deliberated.
Ordered, That Mr Martyn
Jones be called to the Chair of the Committee.
The Committee further deliberated.
Resolved, That the Committee
do inquire into the impact of the Government's devolution proposals
on economic development and local government in Wales.-(The
Chairman.)
